A Major Career Introspective

or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Blog

3 September 1973
I briefly thought about just cutting-and-pasting the bio from any of the countless other personal profiles of mine that exist out there in the ether. But is that still me? Was it ever me? Don't we really just write what we want others to know about us, often leaving out large chunks of our life that play an important role, or at least occupy some of our thoughts?

So yeah, anyway...

I'm (at the time of this writing) a 33-year old male living in Louisville, KY. Approximately 40 of my waking hours per week are spent managing a camera store. Lucky for me, one of my passions is photography. One of my other passions is music, which makes the fact that I play in a band also fortunate. (Need a wedding photographer? Need a band to play your wedding reception? I can do both!) Being a new homeowner, it seems I am now perpetually broke or sweating to make ends meet, but personal wealth is just the means to the end of having a full and interesting life.

There's probably more, but I see you rolling your eyes...

PS - volvita has eaten my soul. Oops, I mean, I love her.
